Students in Red Cross Wildnerness First Aid training

Basic level of Wilderness & Remote First Aid that covers material in Standard First Aid & CPR, plus special material on techniques for wilderness and remote areas. Course also offers strategies for providing extended care for up to 24 hours. Part of the course is taught in an outdoor setting and requires greater physical activity and endurance than typical first aid training. Suitable for those who work or live in remote locations or who are outdoor recreation enthusiasts.


This course will do the classroom portion on Friday evening 6:30-10pm
The remaining 2 days of the course will be held outdoors at a nearby location rain or shine. Actual location and times will be discussed on the Friday evening.


3-year certification in Wilderness & Remote First Aid, CPR Level C, and AED

Cancellation Policy

Individuals cancelling a course must give Critical Choices First Aid, a minimum of 5 days notice prior to the class. No-shows and insufficient notice will result in full liability for the entire course fee. If a course is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, fees will be refunded in full.
