Emergency First Aid

This course provides simple First Aid & CPR techniques taught in an interactive environment, for individuals who want an overview of First Aid & CPR for the home or workplace. The course covers skills needed to recognize and respond to emergencies for adults, children, and infants. Topics include CPR, choking, airway and breathing and bleeding emergencies as well as emergency preparedness and prevention of disease transmission. This course also meets the requirements for Worksafe BC Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification.

The Red Cross Emergency First Aid & CPR course includes CPR Level C and AED training.

Duration: 8 hours
Completion: 100% attendance, skills demonstration, and 75% min. passing grade on written exam
Certification: 3-year certification in Emergency First Aid, CPR Level C*, and AED
